wwoofing with kale

i’m wwoofing on a lavender farm in montana for a few weeks to clear my head and then hopefully fill it up again with a better sense of self. to be honest, san francisco has drained the life out of me and i needed to get out. i wanted to stop feeling so anxious about the future and just focus my energy on something creative & personally meaningful. being surrounded by pure beauty doesn’t hurt either..

on my first day on the farm, i met kale and her mom, grace, who are traveling across the country to see where life leads them. she was a true flower child that taught me about chicory, adopted a kitten, and gave me a daisy.

ps, nirrimi, my creative inspiration, verbalized this confusing phase of life quite beautifully, if any other 20 something’s are in need of solidarity.
